Dear Guest,
At Schmidt Facial Plastic Surgery, we have a passion for standing out from the rest – in a great way. Our exceptional team works tirelessly to deliver the very best in facial aesthetic and reconstructive services. We know the best form of advertising is word of mouth. That’s why we strive to do everything possible to do more than just offer a service; we want to epitomize service.
Our commitments to you:
- Creation of a safe environment – Your safety is our priority; safety breeds trust and comfort. We will make every effort to ensure you are undergoing procedures with the same precautions that are taken at the world’s finest medical and surgical institutions.
- Reflection of a beautiful you – We know how you feel – or want to feel – on the inside. We will do everything in our power to meet your aesthetic and reconstructive needs so that you can broadcast those feelings to the world.
- Preservation of privacy – We pledge to maintain your confidentiality at all times. Our clinic has a private entry and exit as well as a private waiting room for those that wish to utilize it, and we even offer hooded robes and sunglasses as a courtesy to those postoperative patients interested in maximizing privacy. We maintain strict compliance with all HIPAA standards for your protection. You can expect that we will not divulge information to anyone unless you specifically grant us permission.
- World class service – How do you feel when you walk into a 5-star hotel? You will find that same level of luxury, friendliness, sincerity, and attentiveness in every single interaction you have with us. We will do everything we can to exceed your expectations. We want you to experience comfort and quality that sets new standards in plastic surgery.
How we are different:
- In-house operating room – We will be capable of performing over 95% of the procedures offered in our beautiful, new, state-of-the-art operating room. Everything – including your preoperative consultation, your procedure, and your postoperative visits – can take place in the same comfortable and convenient location. Rest assured, an office-based surgery practice does not mean that your safety is in any way compromised. Because safety is of utmost importance, we are actively pursuing accreditation with The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. This national organization is the gold standard for ensuring safety at ambulatory surgery centers and office-based surgery practices. Accreditation is not required, but those facilities that want to demonstrate a commitment to safety and excellence voluntarily put themselves through this very stringent assessment process.
- Education – Knowledge is power. We will not try to sell you on a service or procedure. Our role is to ask the right questions to determine your needs, give you the pertinent information, and guide you through the decision making process. The decision to proceed with any type of service or product is yours entirely. Of course, we will happily provide our professional recommendations.
- Pro-bono and voluntary work – Though we focus on facial rejuvenation and aesthetics, there is a very large demand for reconstructive procedures both domestically and abroad. Part of our mission is to deliver care to a few select groups in need that cannot otherwise afford the associated cost. See the pro-bono web page for more information.
- Surgical Concierge Service – Our team will bend over backward to try to accommodate you in any way reasonably possible. From aiding you in the coordination your hotel stay and transportation to our clinic (for patients traveling from out of town) to arranging your postoperative massage, we want the surgical process to be as easy and comfortable as possible. Special hotel rates have been negotiated on your behalf so that you can recover in a beautiful, convenient, and relaxing environment. We will make house (or hotel) calls to follow up on you postoperatively when feasible.
- Minimize our impact on planet earth – We make every effort to maintain a green, paperless office. The majority of your clinical chart will be stored electronically. Thousands of paper charts, each filled with hundreds of paper, can be distilled into just a few Ipads. Any paper documents used will be scanned, and the originals will be shredded and recycled. Every scrap of recyclable cardboard, plastic, metal, and glass will skip the trash can and go into the recycling bin. We’ve also installed all LED and fluorescent bulbs as well as motion sensing switches to minimize energy consumption. Toilets use one gallon of water per flush to help conserve water. We are conscious of a greater cause, and as a community leader, we want to do our part.
Thank you for considering Schmidt Facial Plastic Surgery. I recognize that you have many options for your cosmetic and reconstructive surgery needs, but I am confident that should you choose to work with my team, you will be extremely pleased with your decision. I would be honored to have the opportunity to serve and befriend you.
Very sincerely,
Jeffrey L. Schmidt, MD
