Facelift
A facelift or “rhytidectomy” combats one of the most frustrating aspects of the aging process: sagging and loosening of skin on our faces. As we get older, the elastic and fibrous proteins in our body begin to wear out, so that our skin and other tissues stretch without the ability to recoil.
Eyelid Lift (Blepharoplasty)
An eyelid lift (also known as a blepharoplasty) removes excess, sagging or puffy skin to rejuvenate the eyelids and enhance the eyes. The operation can correct issues in the upper and/or lower eyelids, depending on the patient’s needs.
Cheek Augmentation
Cheek augmentation can restore a youthful shape to the cheeks. This procedure can also create a sculpted look for patients who have always had undefined or flat cheeks.
Lip
Many individuals desire a fullness to to the lips that they either enjoyed during youth or have never had. Such fullness is often perceived as a sign of youth and beauty. Many nonsurgical procedures work well; however, these are temporary, and over time such procedures can cost more than a surgical procedure would. Dr. Schmidt offers two surgical options for lip enhancement.
Surgical Skin Resurfacing
Beyond skin care products, there are a myriad of skin resurfacing options. The main categories include chemical peels, dermabrasion, and lasers. These options range quite a bit in terms of level of aggressiveness. On the mild end of the scale you find superficial chemical peels and microdermabrasion.
Fat Grafting
Facial fat grafting is a minimally invasive, long-lasting procedure to undo the effects of fat volume loss. For this procedure, Dr. Schmidt inserts a small amount of fat tissue to key areas of the face, restoring its full, youthful appearance.
Facial Liposuction
Facial liposculpting is a minimally invasive procedure that involves the removal and reshaping of this troublesome fat tissue. Liposculpting reduces puffiness and bloating to restore strong, youthful contours in the face. It’s also an effective technique to smooth the neck or even remove a double chin.
Hair Transplantation
Hair transplantation is a straightforward solution to counteract balding and restore a full head of hair that you can continue cutting and styling as you always have. For this procedure, Dr. Schmidt uses a sophisticated hair transplantation technology called NeoGraft that produces even, natural results with no evidence of surgery.
Forehead Reduction
Forehead reduction–also known as hairline lowering or scalp advancement–shortens the forehead by bringing the hairline down to a more natural position. This restores focus to the eyes and other facial features, while significantly enhancing how the hair looks in any style or cut.
Dermabrasion
Dermabrasion, also known as skin resurfacing, is a minor surgery that rejuvenates the skin by harnessing the body’s natural healing process. Wrinkled, scarred and uneven tissue is removed, creating an opportunity for healthy, smooth skin to regrow in its place.
