When you come in for your consultation, we’ll talk a lot about your nose. We want to know what you like about it and what you hate. We also want to know how you feel about other noses. What features do you like in a nose and what do you dislike? Communicating these preferences using words alone can be challenging. Pictures come to the rescue, helping to share your vision with your surgeon and ensuring that you two are on the same page.

Want a Productive Rhinoplasty Consultation? You’d Better Get Clipping

When our patients ask how they can best prepare for their rhinoplasty consultation, we often tell them to get clipping. Grab a magazine and a pair of scissors and start cutting out faces. Make notes about each picture. Write down the good, the bad, and the ugly. We want to know your every preference and pictures help to get the point across quickly.

We encourage you to spend some time in our before and after rhinoplasty gallery too. Look for patients with similar before features to your own (shared ethnicity, similar nasal complaints, etc.). Do you like their results? Why or why not? If you can, select a few favorite patient photos to share with us at your consultation.
